EMAS 2011 Workshop

12th European Workshop on Modern Developments and Applications in Microbeam Analysis

Proceedings

The proceedings of EMAS 2011 Workshop - 12th European Workshop on Modern Developments in Microbeam Analysis will be published in the Open Access IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) which is published by the Institute of Physics Publishing in the UK.  All papers published in MSE are fully citable and upon publication will be free to download.  Authors may be interested to know that the Conference Series now receives in excess of 2 million article PDF downloads per year, and is abstracted and indexed in Compendex, Inspec and elsewhere.  Citations to MSE papers are tracked online using IOP Publishing's citing articles facility in addition to the full citation tracking facilities provided by Scopus.

Important, please read before you submit a paper

PUBLICATION LICENCE FOR OPEN ACCESS PROCEEDINGS PAPERS.  For papers published in our open access proceedings titles IOP Publishing no longer requires authors to sign and submit copyright forms.  Please note that our regular journals are unaffected by this change.  For our open access proceedings titles (including MSE) copyright transfer forms are being replaced by a publishing licence under which authors retain their copyright and no longer need to sign and submit any forms.  Any author who wishes to publish in one of these titles must agree to the terms of the licence and by submitting a paper for publication in one of these titles it is assumed all authors of the paper agree, in full, to the terms of the licence.

The licence terms and conditions are available online.

Where to send your paper

Authors should supply their papers directly to their Workshop Secretariat who, after arranging for peer review, will supply the accepted papers to MSE.  Please do not send your papers directly to MSE.

Papers produced according to the guidelines mentioned below, should be submitted in both PDF-format and in the original Word- or LaTex-format, by June 15th, 2011 at the latest, to the EMAS Secretariat at: mailto:luc.vantdack@ua.ac.be.

Preparing your paper
